Leah Fessler is a journalist at Quartz, the global business news site, where she covers gender, work, and relationships, all through a feminist lens. She has broken a number of industry-shaping stories on how sexism manifests in technology and management. She is also the creator and lead journalist behind How We’ll Win, Quartz’s most ambitious special project to date. How We’ll Win is a year-long exploration of the fight for gender equality at work. Prior to Quartz, Leah worked in management at Bridgewater Associates, the nation’s largest hedge fund, and wrote about sexual and romantic relationships for The Atlantic and The Washington Post. She has spoken on sex, relationships, and workplace sexism at the Aspen Ideas Festival, Harvard Law School, UC San Francisco’s Global Women’s Rights Forum, PBS Point Taken, and more.

Nicole founded Worn in 2010 and grew it from a print publication into a mission-driven creative agency focused on women-led companies. She was born into a family of entrepreneurs from Mexico and Argentina, and grew up in L.A. She has been an entrepreneur since the day she graduated from George Washington University. She speaks four languages and her life’s passion is empowering women in business.

She most recently served as the Chief Content Officer at Thrive Global, Arianna Huffington’s health and well-being company. Prior to Thrive, Callie worked at TIME, Vox Media and Talking Points Memo. She has received wide industry recognition for her impact including being named twice to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list, Business Insider’s 30 Most Important Women in Tech Under 30, AdWeek’s list of Future Publishers, Inc.’s 30 Under 30 and one of TIME’s 140 Best Twitter Feeds in the World.

Mae is the CEO and Founder of Obviously, the influencer platform for the world’s iconic brands. Mae has grown this company from a one person start up to a 40 person, global company with a brand roster that includes many Fortune 500 companies. Obviously specializes in building custom networks of influencers for brands, specifically large scale global communities of hundreds to thousands of influencers with the right target audiences. Working with the best brands out there, we build relationships with the influencers that embody their ethos while moving their businesses forward. Before Starting Obviously, Mae ran social media for Gilt City, part of Gilt Groupe. Previous to that she ran social media for Bravo, Coca Cola and UGG with the ad agency 360i.

Rima is the Director of Corporate Partnerships at XRC Labs, where she leads the development of XRC’s relationships with brands and retailers, as well as XRC’s startup sourcing and diligence process. She most recently worked in Strategy and Business Development at Ralph Lauren, with a focus on e-commerce and omni-channel initiatives. Prior to RL, Rima served as an Equity Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Rima graduated from Barrett, where she double majored in Economics and Finance, with a minor in Mathematics. She has also completed extensive coursework in Fashion Marketing at Parsons School for Design. Rima is a Nest Fellow and has volunteered with ethical fashion startup Darzah on Business Development and Digital Marketing Strategy.

Jennifer Fitzgerald is the CEO and co-founder of Policygenius, the nation’s leading online insurance marketplace. She is one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business for 2018 and is one of only four women founders in Fintech to raise over $50 million in funding. Before starting Policygenius in 2014, she and her co-founder, Francois de Lame, were management consultants at McKinsey & Company. Jennifer has shared insights in major publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and more. Early in her career, she was a Peace Corps volunteer and used to do comedy and storytelling in NYC. Jennifer is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Florida State University.
Sara Potler LaHayne

A life-long dancer and previous professional performer, Sara LaHayne was a Fulbright Scholar in Bogotá, Colombia when she authored, implemented, and evaluated the original Move This World curriculum. Today she is the Founder & CEO of Move This World, a social emotional learning program that provides PreK-12 educators and students with tools to strengthen their social and emotional wellbeing in order to create healthy environments where effective teaching and learning can occur. Through evidence-based, developmentally appropriate videos, Move This World ritualizes a daily practice of identifying, expressing and managing emotions. To date, Move This World has impacted over half a million students across 21 states.
Renata Mutis Black
CEO & Co-Founder @ EBY
Renata Mutis Black, founder of Seven Bar Foundation and EBY, has created a new blueprint for philanthropy. Her mission is to develop sustainable business models that generate consistent revenue streams to fuel microfinance and drive social impact. In 2017, Black partnered with Sofia Vergara to launch EBY, a subscription-based underwear company delivering everyday seamless panties on a quarterly basis. EBY drives profits with purpose, donating ten percent of its net sales to the Seven Bar Foundation. Deepak Chopra’s book “The Soul of Leadership” features a chapter dedicated to Black’s career, and she has spoken about female empowerment and women in business at numerous institutions including the United Nations and Harvard Business School.
