Hydro Flask

What’s better than water? Cold water. With Hydro Flask’s double insulated vacuum wall, it keeps your beverages cold (or hot) all day. And you can’t beat those looks. The Hydro Flask is great for that friend who can’t go without their precious liquids.

the story

Hydro Flask is on a mission to “save the world from lukewarm”. It all started in Bend, Oregon when a group of outdoor adventurers banded together and launched a line of fully-insulated water bottles.

Two years later, they hit one million in sales. Legend has it that the team wanted to celebrate, but didn’t have anything to keep their beer cold. So, they expanded into the beer market with insulated growlers.

Now, Hydro Flask offers over 100 products internationally across hydration, beer, coffee, and food.

why we like it

It’s important to stay hydrated and Hydro Flask makes it convenient and enjoyable. The insulation keeps your beverages cold (or warm) for long periods of time, yet the form factor is handsome and extremely mobile.

The bottles come in dozens of colors and you can even swap out different caps for whatever suits your liquid drinking fantasies.

Also, you know you’re getting a quality product when the warranty lasts even longer than the insulation (i.e., a lifetime).

the competition

The competition is strong with this one. Hydro Flask has several quality competitors including S’well and Yeti water bottles.

Word on the street is S’well bottles are a little prettier and (objectively) offer a larger variety of patterns.

YETI eeks out the top spot on insulation performance under extreme testing scenarios and is dishwasher safe.

You can’t go wrong with any of them, but the Hydro Flask gets our rec as the best full package. It comes in a wide variety of sizes and form factors, looks great, has a durable convenient design, and is more cost efficient than the competition.
