Yesterday, Tesla finally took that wisdom to heart, reporting $312m in Q3 net income and free cash flow of $881m — its third quarterly profit in the company’s 15-year existence.

As Tesla continues to rein in its manufacturing process, some analysts believe this could be a turning point for Tesla.
